K-5 School Group Programs at Schiff Nature Preserve

Are you looking for a local, inexpensive and highly-respected venue for your next school field trip? The Schiff Nature Preserve comprises 600+ acres of permanently preserved open space in Mendham Township and Mendham Borough and offers environmental education programs throughout the year.

Schiff Nature Preserve is happy to announce our new K-5 field trip programs for the 2010-2011 school year.  Our field trips will expose students to the outdoors and create an awareness, excitement and appreciation for local plants, animals, and ecosystems.

Programs include an interactive hike and hands-on nature based activities that are correlated with New Jersey’s Core Curriculum Standards.  All programs are instructed by NJ certified teachers with professional backgrounds in environmental education and ecology.
