Schiff is home to hundreds, if not thousands of species of animals and plants. In 2009, Schiff was awarded a grant through NJ Division of Fish & Wildlife’s Conserve Wildlife Matching Grant Program for a Teen Wildlife Project. Their yearlong species inventory efforts culminated in a twelve-hour Bio Blitz in which they and expert naturalists and biologists from around the state documented as many species as they could. The brochures below are the product of their project. We encourage you to print them out and take them with you on a hike through Schiff.
