Our Mission:
Schiff Summer Nature Programs for Kids will provide children with
opportunities to play, explore and learn together while developing
a sense of community, self- confidence and an appreciation for the
natural world..JPG)
What We Offer:
* Experienced adult science teachers
* A 1:10 teacher to child ratio
* Lessons designed to motivate and inspire your child
* Almost 600 acres of forest and meadow
* 14 miles of hiking trails to explore and discover
* Recycled craft projects to promote environmental awareness
Weekly Activities and Happenings
Include:
Daily Hikes, Nature Games, Recycled Craft Projects, Live
Animal Programs, Tie Dyed T-shirts, Gardening, Themed lessons
Stepped Tuition. You choose
what you pay per week!
Robin
Level. $150 per session. Covers all basic fees and expenses. Includes
hat and tshirt.
Bluebird Level. $165 Covers all basic fees and expenses and allows
for the purchase of a few non- consumable “extras” for the program.
Includes hat and tshirt.
Goldfinch Level. $180 Includes all of the above plus allows us to
develop and expand on our existing program efforts throughout the
year. Includes hat and tshirt.
Morning Session
9 am-12:30 pm OR Afternoon Session 1:30-5:00 pm

Week 1: June 28th-July 2nd... Theme: Plants Got Talent!
Native Plant Garden, Flower Power, Prickly Plants of Schiff, Incredible
Edible Wild Plants, Huggin' & Lovin' Trees
Week 2: July 5th-July 9th... Theme: Schiff's Toughest Jobs,
Habitat Helpers
Creatures & Their Habitats, FBI (Fungus, Bacteria, Insects),
Pollinator Parade, Leftovers Again: Scavengers, Reptiles
Week 2 Special elective class: Artists of the Forest (ages
6-8. Afternoon session only)
Where imagination sparkles and ideas take form! Our artists will
embark on a nature inspired journey to explore the many elements
of the visual arts. Join us and enjoy a fun-filled venture into
art that will culminate in a Nature Art Show certain to thrill you
and your kids.
Week 3: July 12th-July 16th...Theme: Project Predator &
Prey
Food Chains & Webs, Having A Hoot With Owls, The Toothed Ones:
Dragonflies, Silent Stalkers, Birds & Their Nests
Week 3 Special elective class: Artists of the Forest (ages
9-12. Afternoon session only)
Where imagination sparkles and ideas take form! Our artists will
embark on a nature inspired journey to explore the many elements
of the visual arts. Join us and enjoy a fun-filled venture into
art that will culminate in a Nature Art Show certain to thrill you
and your kids.

Afternoon session only)
Let’s put on a play! Young actors will learn the skills needed to
bring a nature-inspired story to life in our outdoor ampitheater
on July 30th. No previous experience necessary. Limited to 12 participants.
Week 5: August 2nd-August 6th... Theme: Schiff's Toughest Jobs,
Habitat Helpers
