Volunteers
Help Schiff Grow
Schiff Nature Preserve’s success and growth is directly linked to
the hard work
of our volunteers. This land was preserved by people who gave their
time to their community and that tradition of service has brought
us to where we are today.
The rewards for volunteering are numerous: volunteers have a direct
impact on preserving precious open space and promoting environmental
education in New Jersey. By helping us out from time to time, you
also have the opportunity to meet people with similar interests,
share your knowledge and learn something new.
Helping Schiff can take many forms. Check out our list below to
see what might interest you. We also welcome suggestions; if you
have an idea, let us know!

Great communicators needed: Help get the word out about our organization
and all that we do! Distribute our materials in your local area

Also help represent Schiff by attending local tabling events and
tell people about Schiff.

Photographers/Artists/Musicians/Writers/Craftspeople
Seeking artists: One of the best ways to reach new people is to
reveal the beauty of Schiff through art. Whether you paint, sculpt,
take photos, write songs or poetry, knit etc., Schiff would love
for you share that talent with us and we can certainly find a way
to use it! If you have an idea of how you can help us capture some
of Schiff’s beauty, entertain our members, or lead a workshop, we
would love to hear about it.
Current Needs:
High quality photographs of the Preserves in any season
Paintings for animal displays
We could also always use photographers at events,
or creative people who want to design displays, or etc. Tell us
your ideas!
