Schiff Nature Preserve's 3rd Annual Gingerbread House and Holiday Plant Sale offers our friends, neighbors, and members a way to prepare for the winter holidays and support Schiff at the same time. We hope that you will join us in our enthusiasm for a family focused activities that also celebrate nature by considering placing an order for Schiff's holiday plants, greenery roping, gingerbread Chateau house kits, and wren houses.
Schiff's Chateau Gingerbread House kit is uniquely customized and cannot be purchased in a big box store. The unassembled house kit arrives neatly packaged with all the supplies needed in a box ready for shipping to friends and family far and near. Plan to assemble the Chateau one day in advance and then enjoy a wholesome family activity. The kit includes: a minimum of ten types of candy, icing, piping bag, carboard base, and two homemade, undecorated gingerbread bear and deer cookies for an added woodland touch.
Schiff's Holiday Plant options include Amaryllis, Paperwhite, Red Poinsettia in two sizes, Christmas Cactus, 75-foot coil of greenery roping, and NEW this year, an adorable Wren House. The cute little wren house is constructed of solid wood with a red roof, and a hole sized for wrens and is perfect for gift giving for bird enthusiasts.
Schiff offers two separate ordering and pick up dates as shown below. Alternatively, one may choose to pick up both their gingerbread house and plants and/or wren houses on the plant pick up date of December 3rd.
